I am trying to figure out why I LOVE this picture… maybe it reminds me of way back when – when I was a kid and we had a cabin in the woods at the edge of a lake… and on rainy days, I would sit and stare out the screen door… the world smells so different in the rain… so I would sit and listen and sniff the air… and when THEY weren’t paying attention I would slip outside into the rain drops and dance in the rain.
Maybe that’s why?
I think that’s it. There’s something about water drops on screen windows that bring childhood back. When we lived in North Carolina, we had a large screened-in porch. I spent a lot of time on that porch when it rained – lost in a book and lulled by the sound sluicing water.
It looks like a tapestry.
It does, kind of. The rain has stopped and the sun is out. More importantly, the humidity level seems to have dropped a bunch. I may survive.
I thought it sort of looked like a puzzle!
Very cool photo.
