Ain’t it something? I’d forgotten about the Dirt Band’s penchant for gathering musicians together. And watching this made me pine for some Emmy Lou, so I’ve got the stereo cranked and am singing along (badly) with Two More Bottles of Wine.
Amazing! This was one of my dad’s favorite songs, so it always reminds me of him. I love it, too.
It’s long been a favorite of mine. The Carter Family’s rendition is probably the most iconic, but I love collaborations like this. It whitens the cockles of my black heart.
