I married the guy who played Summertime to me on his git fiddle, while I sang along. These were our courtin in the coal-room days.
Love the great old tunes, they were singable. I watch the kids mouthing the words to their raps and feel sad that they missed music with melody.

LOVE the oldies! I have 4 older sisters that had the old WKEE radio going non-stop. HATE Rap….that should not be in the same category as music…

There’s a sweetness to it that is heart fuzzy. With that said I’m fixing to listen to Waylon followed by Hendrix I’ve eclectic taste music – I just finished Run c & w – google them they’re a hoot.
