But it reminds me of why I live in VA and not Michigan – home of hubby #2. Nice guy, but girls with Southern blood should not marry polar bears…
Like yours, the house was at the top of the hill… which in the winter became a mountain. Today, I would not be able to do it. So glad I kept my flat-lander home!

It also reminds me of why I live here and not Wisconsin. This is abnormal and will pass. Milwaukee felt like perpetual winter.
